Cookie Policy
1. Introduction
1.1 This Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Switch Pay Limited (“Switch Pay”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Fuze Business platform, operated at www.business.fuze.finance (the “Platform”).
1.2 This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, the Fuze Business End-User Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in those documents.
1.3 By using the Platform, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this Policy, save to the extent you decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
2. What Are Cookies
2.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operator.
2.2 This Policy also covers similar technologies used for equivalent purposes, including pixels, tags, web beacons, local storage, session storage, and software development kits (together with cookies, “Cookies”).
2.3 Cookies may be set by us (“first-party Cookies”) or by third parties that provide services on the Platform (“third-party Cookies”). They may last only for the duration of a browsing session (“session Cookies”) or remain on your device for a set period or until deleted (“persistent Cookies”).
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly necessary Cookies. These Cookies are essential for the operation of the Platform. They enable core functionality including user authentication, session management, security, load balancing, and access to secured areas of the Platform. Without these Cookies, the Platform cannot function properly. Strictly necessary Cookies do not require consent and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner.
3.2 Functional Cookies. These Cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, including remembering language preferences, region settings, display preferences, and previously entered information. Disabling these Cookies may result in a reduced user experience.
3.3 Analytics Cookies. These Cookies collect information about how the Platform is used, including pages visited, features accessed, time spent, and any errors encountered. This information is used on an aggregated and de-identified basis (to the extent practicable) to understand and improve the performance of the Platform.
3.4 Marketing Cookies. These Cookies may be used to deliver product updates, service announcements and (where consented to) marketing communications relevant to your interests, and to measure the effectiveness of such communications.
3.5 Switch Pay does not use Cookies for behavioural advertising or the sale of Personal Data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Cookies
4.1 Third-party Cookies are set by service providers engaged by Switch Pay for the categories of purposes described in Clause 3, including providers of analytics, security, session management, content delivery, and infrastructure services.
4.2 These providers may process the data collected through their Cookies in accordance with their own privacy notices. Switch Pay does not name individual providers in this Policy; the list of providers may change from time to time.
4.3 Where required, Cookies of third-party providers are engaged only in accordance with the consent obtained through the cookie banner.
5. Your Choices
5.1 Cookie banner. When you first access the Platform (and periodically thereafter), you will be presented with a cookie banner allowing you to accept, reject, or configure your preferences in respect of non-essential Cookies. You may change your preferences at any time by accessing the cookie preferences link available on the Platform.
5.2 Browser controls. Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete and block Cookies through their settings. Instructions are available on the help pages of each browser. Please note that disabling strictly necessary Cookies through your browser may render the Platform inoperable.
5.3 Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Switch Pay does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no consistent industry or regulatory standard governing their interpretation. You may use the cookie banner and browser controls described in this Clause 5 to manage your Cookie preferences.
6. Cross-Border Transfers
6.1 Data collected through Cookies may be transferred to, and processed in, jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Transfers are conducted in accordance with the cross-border transfer safeguards described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Retention
7.1 Session Cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent Cookies remain on your device for the period specified for each Cookie, subject to a maximum retention period of thirteen (13) months, or until you delete them, whichever is earlier. Data collected through Cookies is retained in accordance with the retention periods set out in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
8.1 Switch Pay may amend this Policy from time to time in accordance with Clause 17 of the Terms. Amendments take effect on the date of publication on the Platform.
